With more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, Damien has worked with over 100 financial advisory firms across Australia and the UK.

He began his career in this industry whilst he was studying for his Bachelor of Economics, when he worked part time with Wendy Jackson Pty Ltd as the Administration Manager. Upon graduation, he joined MLC in their Customer Service area working with a wide range of financial products and services. He moved from there into a series of analyst and project management roles within the business which included building the flagship superannuation product for the MLC business.

In 2000, Damien was selected as part of a small team to build a product and advice offer for MLC in the UK market. After the successful UK business launch, Damien returned home to Sydney and worked as a National Manager for MLC, focused on boutique Financial Advice business.

In 2006, Damien decided it was time to put all that he had learnt in his professional career into his own practice and entered the Jackson Financial Management business.

A great advocate of lifetime learning, Damien’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics, CFP Certification, Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.

Damien is also a member of the SMSF Association, a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and a NSW Justice of the Peace.

One of Damien’s passions is to inspire people to seek advice early in their financial life.

In his spare time, Damien is an enthusiastic family man and loves spending time with his wife and three young children. When he gets that chance (which is rarer these days) he loves to surf and can often be spotted surfing up and down the NSW coastline.
